OMK Ltd. was established in November 1977 through the spin-off of the casting division of the Shinji Plant of O-M Ltd. In March 2009, the Company acquired the machining division from O-M Giken. In April 2009, it replaced its conventional cupola furnace with a high-frequency induction furnace, thereby giving consideration to the global environment, improving the working environment, and enhancing productivity. Furthermore, in July 2011, the Company assumed the small machine tool business division from the Shinji Plant of O-M Ltd., building an integrated production system covering processes from raw materials to finished products.

OMTEC Ltd. operates a gas station established in 1973 and provides contracted cafeteria services for the Nagaoka Plant of O-M Ltd. The O-M Service Station positions itself as a “one-stop advisor for all vehicle-related needs,” placing the highest priority on customer satisfaction and conducting community-based operations. A full-scale ramen restaurant is also located on the premises, allowing customers to dine and take breaks.

O‐M SHANGHAI CO., LTD.

In China, the Company established a representative office in Shanghai in 2007. To strengthen its business foundation in China and develop sales and service activities that are more closely aligned with local needs, the representative office was upgraded to a locally incorporated entity, O - M SHANGHAI CO., LTD., in 2012. Through the sales organization and technical staff of O - M SHANGHAI, O-M aims to expand sales of its vertical lathes and further enhance the O-M brand.

O‐M(U.S.A.), INC.

O - M (U.S.A.) was established in 2004 to strengthen O-M’s sales organization for vertical lathes in North America. For many decades prior to that, O-M sold its products to customers in North America through distributors, with O-M engineers handling machine installation and after-sales service. Through the provision of O-M machine tools, which are highly regarded for their rigidity, durability, precision, and ease of use, O - M (U.S.A.) seeks to meet the needs of an even broader range of customers across industries such as aerospace, oil and gas, construction machinery, and elevators.
